agree... but ive also participated in svs battles pile that previously (or rules where only gatherings are allowed prior to castle)... We've also had rules like no more than 2 attacks per city, no rallying players etc but truthfully they are hard to police and uphold. To me the agreed rules read in the realm of 'standard' but i am in an early 2000 state so have been around for a while....

The chances of him being a dev are pretty low. States open fast, so 2000 doesn’t mean years apart. That kind of power is usually heavy spending, smart migration, and troop stacking. If he were a dev, competing openly in top 2 would be risky and bad for trust. More likely just an ultra whale.
